I want to hold an AEP workshop, either later this term or early next term. My idea is for AEP teachers to talk about the program and any issues that have come up, particularly for new teachers. I want to look at some current research in content based teaching and discuss any new ideas for improving the program. PDA credit available!
Can you tell me if you have any ideas you would like to discuss at this proposed workshop? If there are papers or pieces of research you would like to present or discuss, please let me know.

Teaching in the AEP Program
Teaching in the Academic English Program is not the same as teaching the Regular Program. For a start, students study 120 hours per term and meet the same teacher for 60 hours. What is it like to teach the same class for that length of time? Do the students get exhausted? Do the teachers?
